Giorgia and Riccardo celebrated their civil wedding entirely at Villa Caprera, allowing the ceremony and reception to become part of one continuous story. I could follow the day without changing its rhythm, concentrating on the exchanges between the couple, their guests and all those small gestures that often give reportage photography its strongest images.
Villa Caprera is a late eighteenth-century residence in Castello di Godego, surrounded by a large wooded park and carefully maintained gardens. Its historic architecture and generous green spaces offered very different backgrounds throughout the day, from the more formal atmosphere of the ceremony to quieter moments beneath the trees. The surrounding territory lies between the Asolo Hills and the central Venetian plain, in a part of the Treviso countryside shaped by a long agricultural and historical tradition.
Giorgia wore a fitted strapless wedding dress, entirely covered in delicate lace that gave depth and texture to its clean silhouette. The long veil, finished with a subtle wavy edge, softened the lines of the gown and created movement as she walked through the park, while the white bouquet kept the overall look refined and understated.
For their couple session I used the vegetation and shaded corners of Villa Caprera rather than imposing a sequence of formal poses. Giorgia and Riccardo could stay close, walk together and simply enjoy a few minutes away from the reception. Their expressions and gestures became the photographs: a quiet way of preserving the personality of their wedding and the atmosphere they experienced together.
