Elenamaria and Alessandro chose to divide their wedding over two days. The civil ceremony took place in Treviso, while the following day brought everyone together again at Villa Vitturi for a second ceremony and the reception. This unusual rhythm gave me the opportunity to build a wedding reportage across different moments, without compressing the whole story into a single day.
Villa Vitturi is a historic residence in Maserada sul Piave, once belonging to the Venetian Vitturi family. For this gallery I focused particularly on its extensive centuries-old park: three hectares of greenery that also include a small castle overlooking a lake with an island, alongside other distinctive elements of the estate.
Elenamaria wore a fitted wedding dress with a clean, contemporary silhouette and a wide off-the-shoulder neckline. The simplicity of the smooth fabric was balanced by the long veil and by a colourful bouquet combining white, orange and purple flowers, bringing a lively accent to the understated design of the gown.
During the couple portraits, the vegetation surrounding Villa Vitturi became part of the composition without overpowering the connection between Elenamaria and Alessandro. I photographed them among the trees, looking for small openings in the foliage and quieter moments together: a continuation of the reportage approach that had accompanied them from the civil ceremony in Treviso to the celebrations of the following day.
