Angela and Luca’s wedding began with a religious ceremony in Venice, where I followed the day through glances, reactions and the small interactions happening around them. My reportage approach allowed the ceremony to unfold naturally, without interrupting its rhythm or turning genuine moments into staged photographs.
The reception continued at Ristorante da Domenico, near Treviso, surrounded by greenery and close to the Piave River. The venue grew from a traditional family frasca established more than sixty years ago, and its park and lake create a peaceful setting for the celebrations and couple portraits.
Angela wore a romantic gown with a high neckline and long sheer sleeves decorated with floral lace. The open back created a lighter contrast with the intricate embroidery, while the flowing skirt kept the silhouette delicate. Her bouquet of red, blue and orange flowers introduced a vivid accent against the white dress.
For their couple portraits, I used the open green spaces and the softer light toward the end of the day. I let Angela and Luca stay close and move at their own pace, concentrating on gestures rather than formal poses and preserving the quieter atmosphere of the Treviso countryside.
