Villa Valmarana gave Giorgia and Stefano’s wedding a strong connection with the landscape of the Riviera del Brenta. The sixteenth-century Venetian villa stands beside the Naviglio in Mira and is surrounded by a large historic park and an Italian garden, offering a quiet contrast between architecture, water and greenery.
Their religious ceremony took place in Scorzè. I followed the different stages of the day with a wedding reportage approach, paying attention to the expressions, encounters and small gestures that linked the ceremony to the celebration without interrupting their natural rhythm.
Giorgia wore a fitted wedding dress enriched with floral lace appliqués, a structured sweetheart bodice and sheer off-the-shoulder sleeves. The long veil softened the defined silhouette, while the delicate embroidery continued along the gown, creating an elegant balance between contemporary lines and romantic detailing.
For their couple portraits we stayed within Villa Valmarana, using the gardens and the warm evening light. Rather than building formal poses, I let Giorgia and Stefano interact freely, allowing a kiss, a movement or a glance to become the photograph itself and to preserve the atmosphere of that moment.
