Tenuta Le Risare: the history
Tenuta Le Risare is a historic farmhouse set within Villa Mussato-Busetto. The estate is located in Busiago di Campo San Martino, in the heart of the Paduan countryside.
In 1278, Viviano de Muso became lord of the town, beginning the long history of the Mussato family. From that moment, Tenuta Le Risare passed through different eras, from the fall of the Serenissima to Napoleonic rule.
Over the centuries, the Mussato family built their residence. During the eighteenth century, in particular, Vitaliano Mussato created a rice field of 200 fields. This significantly improved the estate's economic conditions and allowed the renovation of its rustic house. A neoclassical main front section and a sumptuous central staircase were thus added.
In the same period, large barns for grain storage were built, completing a pre-existing structure dating back to the 16th century. With the subsequent fall of the Republic of Venice, however, the Mussato family lost the estate. In 1869 the property was purchased by the Busetto family, who still own it today.
Thanks to recent restorations, the barns and the park have returned to their former glory. Villa Busetto now hosts important events and celebrations, while Tenuta Le Risare welcomes guests in its bed and breakfast.

The venue structure
Tenuta Le Risare is a true hidden gem within a farm of over 100 hectares. In particular, the vineyards cultivated since ancient times in Busiago with traditional grape varieties contribute to creating a unique and evocative atmosphere.
The structure consists of welcoming and comfortable interior spaces. One of the most fascinating parts of Tenuta Le Risare is the West Barn, characterized by an evocative portico with eighteenth-century columns and lush pergola grapevines. This space extends for over 50 meters and is surrounded by a large garden, creating the perfect setting to celebrate your outdoor wedding.
The East Barn, instead, offers a large portico that can be enclosed in case of bad weather. Around it develops an internal garden surrounded by hedges and wisteria, which give an intimate and collected atmosphere. This garden encompasses various glimpses of the ancient rural courtyard, adding a touch of authenticity to your event.
Another evocative space at Tenuta Le Risare is the Hall of Plows. This space, bright thanks to large windows, is heated and can accommodate up to 100 people. It's the perfect place for your banquet, immersed in an atmosphere reminiscent of ancient local traditions.
