Villa Perego: The History
Villa Perego is a historic residence built in the first half of the 18th century in Cremnago d'Inverigo, in the heart of Brianza. The complex was commissioned by Canon Giovanni Perego as a place for leisure and representation of the family. The dwelling, constructed in the late Baroque style over approximately twenty years, was designed by the architect Giuseppe Merlo.
In the subsequent decades, a series of significant external interventions were commissioned for the main body. The elegant Italian gardens of the complex were created, along with a bright lemon house adorned with large windows. During those years, Villa Perego also began hosting prominent personalities, such as Cardinal Pozzo Bonelli, the bishop of Milan.
The mansion continued to grow for about two centuries, evolving into a small palace. However, with the outbreak of the Second World War, the complex started to decline. In the post-war period, the property faced extreme difficulties, a situation that only improved in the 1970s.
Fortunately, thanks to the efforts of Luigi and Antonio Perego, a series of renovation works were initiated, gradually restoring the complex to its former glory. Shortly after, Villa Perego was opened to the public, hosting receptions and weddings. Today, the descendants of the Perego family of Cremnago still own and maintain the property, dedicated to its preservation.

A Wedding at Villa Perego: The Venue Experience
The mood of Villa Perego works well for a wedding story that alternates scenic context, guest interaction and more private moments between the couple.
The visual strength of a villa lies in the alternation between interiors and outdoor areas, allowing the wedding album to include both atmosphere and emotion. Its position in Lombardy adds a territorial reference to the visual story without making the images feel generic.
Villa Perego: Structure, Services and Guest Experience
The photographic structure of Villa Perego can be built around a sequence of spaces: arrival, preparation if planned onsite, ceremony, aperitif, dinner and evening celebration.
A villa generally allows the reportage to alternate between wider establishing photographs and more intimate images made in rooms, gardens or transition areas. The most important element is how the spaces connect with each other, because a smooth flow helps preserve the natural rhythm of the wedding day.
