Villa Valentina: the history
Villa Valentina is a historic residence dating back to the late 18th century. The structure is located in Tradate, in the province of Varese, in the sweet Lombard countryside. Villa Valentina is, in fact, a complex structure that has grown over the centuries at the will of the families who inhabited it.
Since the first owner of the structure had no heirs, upon his death, the mansion was used as a nursery. Later, Villa Valentina also housed an embroidery school, the "Teodolinda Galvalisi," open to local young women preparing for married life.
At the end of the 19th century, Villa Valentina was then purchased by Mr. Lesnini, returning to being a private residence. Lesnini, limited by a motor disability, financed a series of significant renovation interventions, removing the architectural barriers of the mansion.
Subsequently, around 1990, the complex was purchased by Mrs. Castiglioni. She dedicated herself to the recovery of the property and opened a splendid B&B, transforming Villa Valentina into the famous event venue we know today. Open for weddings, conventions, and visits, the structure is among the main tourist destinations in this charming area.

Villa Valentina has a rich and complex structure, consisting of multiple buildings dating back to different eras. Although its main core consists of a historic 18th-century mansion, the property now also includes more recent constructions. These form the modern B&B of the villa, which houses five different rooms for overnight stays.
The various buildings that makeup Villa Valentina are surrounded by a vast park, inside which lush century-old trees and flowering bushes grow. As visitors approach the core of the complex, the park abandons its more wooded nature, transforming it into a well-kept garden. Most summer events, receptions, and photo services take place here.
Climbing towards the buildings that make up Villa Valentina, you then access various areas for organizing cocktails and indoor receptions. Couples choosing the property to celebrate their weddings can choose from numerous halls, each with its characteristics. Among these are, for example:
The large hall of the ancient villa is capable of accommodating about 180 guests. Dominated by two large fireplaces, inside, you can admire a splendid wooden ceiling and elegant 18th-century friezes.The romantic lemon house is an intimate and bright space embellished with large windows. Here, you can organize a candy station and the welcome cocktail, enjoying the splendid view of the park.The modern veranda, a room with contemporary and minimal lines located within the newer part of the complex.The ballroom, a space dedicated exclusively to after-dinner and dancing, is also part of the more modern wing of the structure.
