Chiara and Matteo’s wedding was original and in line with their passions, and it was held among the happiness and involvement of their friends and family. This wedding was themed “The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” and was filled with excitement and energy, which you can see in this amazing wedding photoshoot.
There were lots of moments pictured, one more beautiful and important than the other, and with the full participation of the newlyweds. The wedding was celebrated in a Villa, which reflected the lovebird’s spirit. Now they can finally call each other husband and wife.
Wedding in Villa Giacomelli with a sci-fi theme
“The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” is a funny and comedic sci-fi book written by Douglas Adams. This sci-fi theme was chosen by the couple for their wedding. It is rare that the couple’s passions translate into such a personalized atmosphere with great care for its details. Everything reflected the main theme, from the decorations, to the color palette, up to the bride’s bouquet.
The groom chose a suit with a classic cut but in an intense blue color, with a matching waistcoat and necktie. A simple white handkerchief and a paper rose adorned the boutonniere. The bride chose a traditional white dress with romantic and soft lines, with thin shoulder straps and a wide bow on the back of the skirt. The wedding’s theme also was present on the flower decoration on her hair and on the bouquet, a triumph of white and blue paper roses.
After the civil ceremony it’s time to celebrate the bride and groom! Wedding villas are the most beloved locations to celebrate this special day, and that is why Chiara and Matteo chose Villa Giacomelli. This magnificent example of neoclassic architecture is ideal to celebrate an elegant and lively wedding. Villa Giacomelli is a country villa surrounded by a vast park, perfect to photograph the couple.
The party was enjoyed very much by all the guests: the games and the newlywed’s participation were the ingredients of the day. The cutting of the cake was also photographed, although this moment was also less traditional: it was, in fact, a tower of delicious cupcakes.
There also were quieter moments for the couple. Chiara and Matteo let themselves be photographed in the beautiful park, among the green background made of trees and lovely plants. Finally, the night called for excited dances, and even the newlywed’s parents participated! It was a unique, joyful, fun and exciting wedding.
