The warm afternoon light gave Denise and Valerio’s couple portraits a lively and intimate atmosphere. I photographed them as they moved naturally through the garden, following their smiles and gestures without interrupting their connection. This freedom allowed me to create a wedding reportage shaped by movement, light and genuine complicity.
Their religious ceremony took place in Biancade, in the province of Treviso. I focused on the anticipation before Denise’s entrance, the glances shared during the service and the spontaneous reactions of their families. These brief moments became the emotional thread connecting the ceremony with the celebrations that followed.
The reception continued at Villa Foscarini Cornaro in Gorgo al Monticano, a sixteenth-century Venetian residence surrounded by greenery. For this story, I concentrated on the dialogue between the historic setting and the changing light, using the quieter areas of the grounds rather than relying only on the villa’s formal architecture. The official venue also highlights its Italian garden, eighteenth-century frescoes and centuries-old oak.
Denise wore a flowing wedding dress with a fitted lace bodice, a deep neckline and delicate short sleeves. The clean, ample skirt balanced the intricate texture of the upper part, while her soft-toned bouquet added a relaxed touch. Together, these details completed a day that I was able to preserve through natural photographs filled with light and authentic emotions.
