Chiara wore a refined and essential wedding dress, with thin straps, a softly draped neckline and a fluid silhouette. The delicate lace detail at the décolleté added texture without changing the clean character of the gown, while the long veil created beautiful movement during the preparation and throughout the day.
After their religious ceremony, Chiara and Alessio continued the celebrations at Tenuta Rechsteiner in Piavon di Oderzo. The historic estate is surrounded by the Treviso countryside and vineyards, with a three-hectare park of mature trees and a seventeenth-century Barchessa forming part of the property.
For their couple portraits, the rows of vines offered a simple setting where the late-afternoon light became the most important element. Rechsteiner also preserves vineyards trained with the traditional Bellussera system, whose regular geometry is a distinctive feature of this part of the Venetian countryside.
I photographed Chiara and Alessio without forcing poses, allowing them to walk, embrace and enjoy a few quiet moments together. This is the way I approach wedding reportage: observing gestures and expressions as they happen, so that the images preserve both the atmosphere of the place and the emotions that made their day personal.
